DESAIN BUBU BOLA UNTUK PENANGKAPAN SPINY LOBSTER (Panulirus sp.) SECARA BERKELANJUTAN

چکیده

Operasi penangkapan lobster di Indonesia masih dilakukan dengan cara yang cenderung tidak ramah lingkungan. Penggunaan jaring insang dasar dan krendet mendominasi pada upaya dinilai kurang selektif berpotensi mengakibatkan ghost fishing. Hal ini karena perairan didominasi substrat berpasir, berkarang berbatu membuat sering tersangkut saat diangkat akan ada bagian badan tertinggal. Jaring tertinggal tetap memiliki kemampuan untuk menangkap lobster, hanya saja sudah dalam kendali manusia. Perancangan perangkap lebih lingkungan metode observasi wawancara mempelajari perkembangan alat penangkap dunia, permasalahan serta tingkah laku lobster. Bentuk bubu menyerupai bola berbahan HDPE, dinding dari sampai 8 cm ke atas adalah bertekstur polos. Selebihnya mulut dibuat lubang-lubang agar dapat memanjat bubu. Tujuan desain mampu kategori layak tangkap. Ketinggian berdasarkan hasil pengukuran secara manual beberapa ekor tangkap yaitu > 7 cm, sehingga dianggap menggapai lubang ini. Pengujian tahap awal memastikan laut posisi pintu menghadap menghalangi telah masuk keluar Namun demikian harus uji daerah satu siklus
